JavaFX Talks JavaOne 2014

Some of the JavaOne 2014 talks were published at Parleys and I hope that a lot of other talks will follow. Thankfully some of the published talks are very good JavaFX related talks and I will post a list of all JavaFX talks. Once new talks will be posted at Parleys I will update the list.

Hendrik Ebbers is Java Architect at Canoo Engineering AG and lives in Dortmund, Germany. He is founder and leader of the Java User Group Dortmund and gives talks and presentations in User Groups and Conferences. Hendriks JavaFX book "Mastering JavaFX 8 Controls" was released 2014 by Oracle press. Hendrik is JavaOne Rockstar, JSR expert group member and Java Champion.

    Please explain how to download the JavaFX talks. I went to the safefrom.net web sit and used the parleys web url to download the videos, but it did not work.

      Hi,
      I think that you can watch them only online at parleys.

    I think it is part of Oracles’ monetization strategy for JavaFx to sell JavaFx videos at Parleys.

    Why we cant download an educational video to learn more about a technology you are supposed to be marketing is beyond me. I watched the whole of Android presentations at GoogleIO the week it ended and I am already think “What am I even doing with a UI framework with no lifecycle management when I can just use android?”

    Maybe some of the “evangelists” will pass our message to them that this is pissing off new entrants in the JavaFx world.

    If Oracle does not throw all they can at JavaFx. It might just die a natural death.

    I have tried again to download the javaone 2014 JavaFX videos. This time I right-clicked on the videos at parleys site. And I was able to download 4 complete videos
